As the Children’s Ministry (Promiseland) Pastor you will build, develop, and execute the children’s ministry (birth to 5th grade) at the campus level at Willow Creek. This includes hosting impactful programs, training and empowering volunteers, and supporting and equipping families. You’ll be able to collaborate with the Core Ministry team and campus leadership to set the direction, vision, goals, and initiatives of the ministry and contribute as a key part of the overall vision for Willow Creek. In addition, you’ll be a key contact and support to all of the parents in our church as they teach children what it means to be a fully devoted follower of Jesus.
*Champion the vision and strategy for children's programming for infants-5th grade at Willow Creek in alignment with the overall mission, vision, and strategies of Willow Chicago and the Promiseland Core.
*Oversee, develop, and support the Promiseland volunteers to execute excellent weekend experiences, small groups, and other events.
*Recruit, train, and develop a highly engaged and motivated volunteer team, ensuring they are well equipped, supported, and encouraged.
*Uphold the risk and protection policies, including correct minimum student to leader ratios, to deliver a safe experience for every child in the ministry.
*Plan and manage the budget for your ministry, utilizing resources effectively to achieve maximum impact.
*Serve as the primary support to all parents of young children at the campus as they help their kids take their next steps with God.

Education and Experience:
Promiseland Pastors likely have an undergrad degree or higher, ideally in the field of education, social work, biblical studies, or psychology (or equivalent experience).
Likely served in a leadership position at a church or campus
Passion for urban children’s ministry or services
Has proven experience leading teams.
Experience working with kids (birth - grade 5)
Has experience caring and shepherding others.
